But then some went on to record sessions with others disbanded, and formed this group...

They later thought about changing their name. they used this playa's name below, played around with it...

They started out well.. But then were criticised for copyrights.

So they finally called themselves X, and thats how we know them today. But it doesn't end there yet. They named their first album after that playa's jersey number (which has been blackened out)

Ans. X is Pearl Jam. Malfunkshun initially were known as the godfathers of Grunge. They disbanded and some of their members went on to found Mother Lovebone band. They later called themselves Mookie Blaylock after the basketball player. But due to copyright issues, after he started endorsing Nike, they changed their name to Pearl Jam. So when they brought out their first album, they called it 'Ten' after his jersey number.
